   Valentine’s Day

   Today is the first day I couldn’t stop thinking about her,

   Today is the first day I held on to her like my life depended on it,

   Today is the first day I realized how blessed I was to have her in my life,

   Today is the first day I cried for her…

   I wish this Valentine’s Day wasn’t my excuse to express my whole-hearted feelings to her,

   I wish that I could have told her “thanks” and “I love you” last night, the day before, and every other chance I had,

   But today belongs to her,

   Today, to me, is officially Grandma’s Day.

   Praying for you always, Inang.  I love you. 

   Has it already been a year?  Inang, that love is still there.
